Mel Xilio is a wonderful example of the versatility of the Spanish bred Arabian.He is SCID clear.
His son the Spanish bred Milano emerged as Reserve Senior Champion Stallion and high-scoring horse of the show at the Israel National Show 2003. He is a classic example of his bloodlines. With big "Spanish eyes" and a huge neck, he has an exotic head, excellent tail carriage and breaks level at a trot.

Jalisco,  1971 grey stallion (Figuroso x Fira by Tabal).
Bred by Don Miguel Osuna Escalera. Purchased and imported to Holland by Peter and Leesie Scheerder of the Stal Melissa, Baarlo, Holland.  Reserve National Champion and sire of National Champions. Sire of 86 get and 123 grandget, including Jaime El Hauhwa- Overall Champion Germany, Mel Rintin - National Champion Stallion and the well known broodmare Navarra P. (Dam of Navarrone P.presently making her name on the European circuit). Last foal born May 1996. Figuroso was 1974 Spanish National Champion Stallion with such a charismatic showing that he was asked to do a special performance at Liberty. All on voice commands only, he free lunged in a perfect circle exhibting swift smooth transitions between gaits and stopping within one step. His powerful trot brought a standing ovation. Son of twice Spanish Champion mare, Bahia II, Figuroso sired 137 get and 199 grandget, of which 14 were born in Spain, including Spanish National Champion Stallion Latino, 2 time Spanish Reserve Champion Mare Jarilla, French Reserve Champion Male Jano and Dutch Reserve Champion Stallion Jalisco and was the foundation stallion at the Melissa Stud in Holland. Exported to the USA in 1978, *Figuroso was shown to Championships in English Pleasure and Park classes. Figuroso was an excellent sire.
